Saving Money on Delicious Cheesecake

So, I used to buy whole cheesecakes at Sam’s Club which cost around $15-$17 for a Cheesecake Factory brand cheesecake.  I decided to try and save some money by making my own. I already had a springform pan which is a definite must. I looked on Pinterest for a cheesecake recipe and settled on a Chocolate Lover’s Cheesecake.  Here is the link: https://www.lifeloveandsugar.com/2017/02/08/chocolate-lovers-cheesecake/  3 packages of cream cheese @ 1.00 each = $3.00, 1 carton of  whipping cream @ $1.99,4 eggs from a carton @ $.99=$.33, 1 cup of sour cream which is 1/2 a container @ $1.29=$.65,  and 1/2 bag of semi sweet chocolate chips @$1.99 a bag=$1.00 for a total of $6.98. I already had the unsweetened cocoa, vanilla, and sugar.  It turned out perfect and tasted so yummy! Just remember to make sure that you spray the pan with cooking spray and cut a piece of parchment paper to cover the bottom of the pan to make sure if does not stick to the pan.  Also, make sure you use the water bath to keep the cheesecake from cracking. This was pretty easy and turned out so well! I saved between $8-$10.
